Programs
Our programs focus on enhancing youths' experience in world language learning as well as engaging them in global studies. Each year, we host panels, facilitate partnerships between international institutions, donate world language books to local schools, and conduct trainings. Check out some of our work.
World Language Book Initiative
EMIC donates world language children's books to elementary schools to encourage foreign language reading and literacy.
In-person & Virtual
Panels & Events
We facilitate panels and events where youth, parents, and educators meet people of color that share their journeys with world language studies, travel abroad, and global careers.
Partnerships
EMIC identifies organizations and institutions that can engage youth in discussions centered around careers, culture, and language.
Professional
Development & Trainings
We engage in conversations with the community and educators that are centered around encouraging youth to study world languages as well as participate in international affairs.
